Spalding Model Railway Club enjoyed popular exhibition at Springfields

It was a freight weekend at the model railway exhibition that took place at Springfields Events Centre.

Last weekend up to 30 different layouts were featured at the Spalding Model Railway Club event, all built by different individuals and groups from around the country.

All of the models would have taken hundreds and thousands of hours to create and make.

Shaun added: “We had feedback from people saying how much they enjoyed themselves, how pleased they were with the spread of layouts we had and that they would definitely come back again.

“I think people were just pleased to get out and see model trains again.”

Some of the best model railway retailers and parts suppliers also attended the event for visitors to enjoy.
