KFC and Taco Bell open in Spalding

KFC and Taco Bell have thrown open the doors at their new Spalding branches.

The fast food chain has opened along with Taco Bell at Goodison Road - next to the Applegreen services.

Queues were spotted early this morning outside the restaurants, which share the one building. The first 100 customers at Taco Bell were set to be offered a free taco.

A KFC spokesperson said: “We know that Spalding locals have been eager to get their hands on our famous finger lickin’ chicken, and we’re pleased to say that the wait’s finally over… Our shiny new coop is now open, so come on down and get a taste of the Colonel’s finest!”

The businesses applied to South Holland District Council for a late night refreshment licence to serve food from 11pm-3am on top of usual expected trading hours.
