South Lincolnshire Democrats appealing for the return of stolen signs
Liberal Democrats in south Lincolnshire are appealing for the return of a number of campaign signs ahead of Thursday's election.
Party officials say four large signs have been taken from locations around South Holland in recent weeks along with a number of smaller diamond shape ones.
Ian Smith, election agent for Davina Kirby the party candidate for South Holland and the Deepings, said a re-print of the signs has cost £780.
He said: "We would like to appeal for the return of the signs. These have cost us money as we are a small party and don't have much money. It is a bit of a blow to us.
"Police are investigating the matter."
Earlier in the campaign, a number of Conservative signs were stolen and two people were arrested and cautioned.
