Live at the Apollo star Hal Cruttenden to headline comedy night at Spalding’s South Holland Centre




A Live at the Apollo star will head the bill at an upcoming stand-up night.

Hal Cruttenden, who has appeared on TV shows such as Have I Got News For You, Would I Lie To You? Mock the Week, will be among four acts appearing at Spalding’s South Holland Centre in June.

Jack Skipper, Julian Deane and Adam Beardsmore will also be appearing at the Best In Comedy event.

Cruttenden - who is no stranger to Lincolnshire having previously raised laughs at Lincoln and Grantham - has also appeared in reality TV shows including The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice The Apprentice: You’re Fired as well as releasing two comedy DVDs, Tough Luvvie and Straight Outta Cruttenden.

South Londoner Skipper has recently gone from a carpet fitter with no qualifications to becoming an internet sensation and full-time comedian.

Whether telling stories of life as a family man or observations on working-class life, his everyday guy persona has gained an impressive following on social media, with over 14 million likes on TikTok alone and 360,000 followers on Instagram.

Deane has been wowing audiences across the country with his genius punch lines and perfect delivery; and was recently seen performing on The Russell Howard Hour on Sky, while Beardsmore regularly performs up and down the UK in some of the country’s best clubs.

He was recently nominated for BBC New Act of the Year.

The Best In Comedy show will be held on June 27 from 8pm.
