Lorry driver suffers ‘minor’ injuries after trailer overturns on roundabout where A16 and A17 meet at Sutterton

A driver suffered ‘minor’ injuries after his trailer overturned on a busy roundabout last night.

The incident took place on the Sutterton Roundabout, where the A16 and A17 meet, just before 6pm yesterday (November 26).

A section of the roundabout and parts of the A16 northbound towards Boston were closed.

“At 5.52pm on Tuesday, November 26, we received a report of a single-vehicle incident where a trailer of an HGV had overturned at the roundabout where the A16 and A17 meet at Sutterton, near Boston,” a Lincolnshire Police statement confirmed.

“It was reported that the driver suffered injuries described as minor.”
