Lorry ends up in ditch on ‘lethal’ Spalding area road
A lorry ended up in a ditch earlier today (Tuesday, July 1).
Police received reports of the incident in Fulney Drove, on the outskirts of Spading, at around 9.20am.
The lorry is reported to be a Lincolnshire County Council truck
A spokesman said: “A lorry left the road and came to rest in a ditch. No one was injured and the road was not blocked.”
South Holland district councillor Anthony Casson has expressed concerns about the state of Fulney Drove - describing the camber as ‘lethal’.
Coun Casson said: “It is so dangerous that someone might be killed down there.
“It’s that bad even a county council lorry can’t cope with it.”
