Mail, rail and ambulance strikes will affect South Holland this week
The public are being warned of further strike action this week.
Rail journeys, mail deliveries and ambulance services are due to be affected in the area in the build up to Christmas.
Trains through Spalding will not operate on Friday and Saturday due to industrial action, East Midlands Railway have announced.
As usual, no trains will operate on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Trains are expected to run as normal tomorrow (Wednesday), with an earlier finish to some routes on Thursday.
Trains are currently planned to run as normal from December 27, albeit with a later start that morning.
Travellers are advised to check timetables before making any journeys.
The Royal Mail Group will hold strikes on Friday (December 23) and Saturday, the Communication Workers’ Union has announced.
About 2,000 East Midlands Ambulance Service workers - half the workforce - will stage 24-hour strikes tomorrow and December 28.
