Spalding man faces charges of sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl

A 66-year-old man from Spalding has made a first appearance in court over accusations of sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl.
David Arnold faces five touching charges plus a penetrative sexual activity matter. All are said to have occurred between June 1 and November 30, 2021.
He appeared before Boston Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
The more serious charge is indictable only and the case was sent to Lincoln Crown Court for a pre-trial preparation hearing on May 19.
Arnold’s solicitor Dav Naghen indicated that the pleas would be not guilty.
The defendant, of Hereward Road, was granted bail with the condition not to make direct or indirect contact with the complainant.
