Man arrested for drink-driving and assaulting emergency worker after early morning crash in Crowland
A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and assaulting an emergency worker after a crash this morning (Wednesday October 16).
Lincolnshire Police officers were called out to a collision in Crowland shortly after 5am today.
The incident is said to have occurred near the bridge where the B1166 Welland Bank meets Gravel Causeway.
A spokesman said that no-one suffered a serious injury as the result of the crash.
They added: “A 38-year-old man has been arrested for drink driving and assaulting an emergency worker and remains in police custody.”
