Man arrested in Spalding on drugs charges

A man has been arrested on drugs charges after being stopped by police.

Officers searched the man after he was seen acting suspiciously in London Road, Spalding, on March 19.

After he was apprehended, a search confirmed that he possession of class B drugs.

The 21-year-old was arrested for possession with intent to supply drugs and has been released on bail.

Sgt Callum Corder said: “We will continue to tackle anti-social behaviour in different forms across South Holland through all legislative means.

“Lawful and proportionate stop and search is part of the options available to us to keep our streets safe. As part of this process, we undertake regular online and in-person scrutiny panels to make sure we are evaluated effectively and to understand the impact these tactics may have within our communities."
