Man arrested as police continue to crackdown on road safety offences in Spalding, Quadring and Gosberton




A man has been arrested on suspicion of being involved in the supply of class A drugs – as part of a police crackdown on road safety offences.

Following a number of concerns raised by residents in the community, South Holland Neighbourhood Policing Team visited areas in Spalding, Quadring and Gosberton yesterday (Monday, February 24).

While targeting road offences in the area, police officers arrested a 42-year-old man on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, after he was found to be carrying a large quantity of cash in his car.

Following a search of his home on the Queen’s Road estate in Spalding, officers were able to locate what is believed to be a quantity of class A drugs.

The man remains on police bail pending further investigation.

Police officers also responded to seven traffic offences of motorists who were all speeding in a 30mph zone.
