Man charged with possession of bladed article after Spalding incident

A man has been charged by police after an incident in which armed officers were called to a Spalding street.

Jojo Taylor (23) has been charged with possession of a bladed article following an altercation in the town on Thursday night. Police say he lives at an address in James Road, Spalding.

He appeared at Boston Magistrates’ Court on Friday (March 31) and has been released on bail to appear at court later this month.

Two other men were released without any further action. We are awaiting further details on a fourth man, who was also arrested.
