Spalding man Jose Barbosa admits cracking Masons Models window after being denied entry to Ivy Wall
Magistrates have heard that a Spalding man who was angry at being refused entry to a pub because he had his underage son with him punched the window of a nearby shop, damaging it.
Jose Barbosa (44) of Juniper Crescent admitted damage when he appeared at Boston Magistrates Court.
The court was told that he had been refused entry to the Ivy Wall public house on New Road at 10pm on August 12.
He was then seen on CCTV walking away and punching the window of a shop nearby, Masons Models, causing it to crack.
The magistrates told Barbosa, who was not represented and had nothing to say to the magistrates, that he had been ‘cross’ and that he had taken his ‘anger out on the window’.
He was fined £110 and ordered to pay £250 in compensation and £85 in court costs.
