Spalding man denies charge of common assault




A trial date has been set for a man who denies committing common assault.

Spalding resident Daniel John Orme pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared at Boston Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (February 28).

The 37-year-old, of Perry Close, will return to the same court for trial on May 24.

He was released on conditional bail and must not attend an address on Queens Road, Spalding, or contact complainant Eduards Bogdanovs and two named witnesses.

The incident is alleged to have taken place on February 10.
