Man in 50s dies after serious collision near Bourne




A man in his 50s has died following a serious collision on a busy road last night.

Police have confirmed that the man died as the result of a collision on the A6121 near Bourne at about 7.20pm, which involved three vehicles.

One man, aged 28, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has been released on bail while police investigations continue.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “We are saddened to confirm that a man in his 50s has died following the collision on the A6121 at Bourne.

“His family have been informed and will be supported by specially trained officers.”

They added: “We renew our appeal for anyone with information who we have not yet spoken with to come forward.”
