Spalding man Darren Osborne refused to leave partner's garden, Boston Magistrates Court was told

A man was arrested after he refused to move on from his partner's garden following a dispute between the two.

Darren Osborne (38), of Wygate Road, Spalding, admitted being drunk and disorderly when he appeared before Boston Magistrates Court today (Monday).

Marie Stace, prosecuting, said police were called to Chestnut Avenue on July 30 where they found Osborne in the garden of a house where he lived with his partner, surrounded by items of clothing and throwing things at the window.

She said he was 'very emotional' and was 'in drink' but when he was asked to go somewhere else for the night, he said he had nowhere else to go.

She said he sat down and also banged on the windows of the police car and eventually had to be arrested.

The magistrates were told he was on a suspended prison sentence for unrelated matters and was working well with the Probation Service but his issues were with alcohol.

Osborne told the magistrates that his relationship was 'wonderful one minute and volatile the next' and that at the time he had nowhere else to go but now had his own address.

He was fined £40 and ordered to pay a total of £101 in court costs and charges.
