Donington man due in Lincoln Magistrates' Court on attempted rape and robbery charges in Spalding




A Donington man is due to appear in court today (Thursday) on an attempted rape charge.

Kamil Gziut (28), of Arnhem Way, Donington, is accused of attempting rape a 22-year-old woman in Albion Street, Spalding, on Saturday (November 27).

He is also facing charges of robbery and assault, which are also alleged to have happened on the same day.

Three men are reported to have come to the rescue of the woman and a passing motorist is thought to have helped.

Police continue to appeal for any information that will assist the investigation and ask anyone who thinks they can help to get in touch.
