Police release 29-year-old man on bail after ‘noxious spray’ incident in Albion Street in Spalding
A man has been released on bail while police continue to investigate an incident in which a driver is alleged to have been sprayed with a suspected noxious substance after a crash.
Police arrested a 29-year-old man on suspicion of being in possession of a controlled drug, on suspicion of possession of a bladed knife and on suspicion of spraying a noxious substance after an incident in Albion Street in Spalding last week.
There was said to have been a crash between a blue Audi A3 and blue Skoda Fabia just before 4.30pm on Tuesday (April 29) — which caused congestion in Spalding on the day.
Following this, police received reports that the driver of one of the vehicles sprayed a substance into another vehicle at the scene.
A spokesman has told LincsOnline that the 29-year-old man has been released on bail pending further investigation.
