Man injured in Long Sutton altercation and another arrested

A man was taken to hospital with a head injury following an altercation in Long Sutton last night.

Police were called to Anfield Road just before 5.05pm yesterday after receiving reports of a disturbance.

A man, who is in his 20s, was taken to hospital with a head injury, which is not thought to be life threatening.

Police arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with this incident. He has been released on bail and police are continuing their investigations.
