Road partially blocked after accident in Holbeach Drove yesterday evening

Emergency services were called to the scene of an accident between two vehicles in Holbeach Drove yesterday evening (Monday, November 12).

The incident happened just after 5pm, near a bend on the B1166 Main Road.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: "At 5.04pm we were called to a two car collision, a Nissan Mira and a Ford Focus.

"One man was taken to hospital by ambulance after receiving minor injuries."

The road was partially blocked following the incident.

A spokesperson for East Midlands Ambulance Service added: “We received a call at 5.01pm on November 12 to an incident on the B1166. The caller reported a road traffic collision involving two vehicles.

"An East of England ambulance crew transported one patient to Peterborough General Hospital for further care.”
