Weston Hills man accused of making false invoices due in court




A case involving a Weston Hills man allegedly making 19 false invoices has been adjourned.

Andrew Surman (46) appeared before magistrates in Boston on Wednesday. He’s charged with making a false instrument – 19 invoices that billed for gardening work at industrial units operated by VBCIE with the intention that they were accepted as genuine.

The offence is said to have happened between June 30, 2016, and February 22, 2020.

The bench have adjourned the case until March 8.

Surman, of Broadgate, was granted unconditional bail.
