Man will stand trial for burglary at Spalding firm and carrying an offensive weapon in Hall Place
A man who is accused of possessing an offensive weapon in Spalding town centre will be standing trial next year.
Andrew Searle (53), who gave the court a care of address in Hereward Road, Spalding, denied having a weapon – described as a flat head screwdriver – in Hall Place on November 17.
He is also accused of stealing a laptop, two mobile phones, a charity box and cash box to the value of £570 from Rush Hour Escape Room in Spalding, on October 31. He has denied this burglary charge.
At a hearing at Lincoln Magistrates Court on Wednesday, he was granted conditional bail.
He is due to be standing trial at the same court on January 8.
