Sentencing of King's Lynn man adjourned after deaths of Gedney family in horror A47 crash
A man who caused the deaths of a family of three in a horror crash will wait longer for his punishment.
On February 14, Aurelijus Cielevicius, 39, of John Street, Lynn, pleaded guilty to three counts of death by dangerous driving following a collision on the A47.
Cielevicius was remanded in custody following his admissions at Norwich Crown Court, and was due to be sentenced today (Monday).
However, proceedings have been adjourned - with a new date and time yet to be fixed.
Cielevicius caused the deaths of family Paul James Carter, 41, Lisa Jayne Carter, 49, and Jade Channelle Mace, 25, after a collision at the A47 Constitution Hill in North Runcton - about a quarter of a mile from the Hardwick Roundabout - on January 15.
All three victims lived at Albert Avenue in Gedney, Lincolnshire, with an inquest into their deaths opened by Norfolk Coroner's Court on January 30.
Paul Carter, a builder, died due to multiple injuries sustained in the collision.
The same causes were responsible for Lisa Carter, a hairdresser, and Jade Mace, a youth offending officer, losing their lives.
