Spalding man accused of drink-driving in his Audi will face court trial
A trial has been set for a drink-driving case against a man from Spalding.
Viktoras Paulauskas, 53, is charged with driving an Audi in the town’s Hereward Road on March 4 with excess alcohol.
He is said to have provided an evidential sample of 64 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
That is almost twice the legal drink-drive limit of 35mcg.
Paulauskas, of Sorrel Drive, appeared before District Judge Peter Veits at Boston Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
There he pleaded not guilty to the offence.
A trial date of May 26 was set.
Defendant Paulauskas was granted unconditional bail to that hearing.
