Spalding McDonald's drive-thru shut for works

The drive-thru at Spalding's McDonald's restaurant is currently closed while work is carried out at the store.

Digital menu boards are being installed at the Holbeach Road outlet and, as a result, the drive-thru will be unavailable until Saturday morning at the latest.

A McDonald's spokesman said the store hopes the work could be completed ahead of schedule by Friday evening.

The restaurant is still open for takeaways during the work.
