Men deny being equipped for hare coursing at West Pinchbeck
Two men have denied being equipped for hare coursing.
Scott Pritchard, 43, and 44-year-old William Johnson have been charged with being in possession of sighthounds, thermal imaging scope and slipleads at Fengate Road, West Pinchbeck, on December 17.
Pritchard, of Manor Gardens, Dawley, near Telford, entered a not guilty plea when he appeared before Boston magistrates on Wednesday (June 26).
Johnson was not present as he is expected to be in the United States assisting a family member with medical treatment until August.
However, Jason Patel, defending the pair, entered a not guilty plea in his absence.
The defendants will return to the Boston court for trial on October 11.
Pritchard was granted unconditional bail while Johnson’s case was adjourned until the trial date.
