Musicians celebrate great grades

Dedicated musicians from Moulton are celebrating after achieving fantastic exam results in cello and piano.

The pupils, of all ages, gained internationally-accredited Trinity College, London, grades and proud teacher Glenis Malkin said the results were a credit to the musicians and their dedication and focus.

Grace Wilson gained distinction at Advanced Performance Certificate, Filip Galkowski distinction at Grade 1 piano and Edwin Scales distinction at Initia piano. Ben Walters (aged 11) and George Freeman (13) achieved piano distinction Grade 2, Stephen Owusu-Ansah (6) distinction cello Initial,

Katie Winfield gained merit at Grade 6 cello and Helen Johnson gained her LTCL performance diploma.

London Guildhall School of Music and Drama graduate Mrs Malkin has been successfully teaching both cello and piano for 30 years and has a small number of places for one-to-one lessons available for September at her music studio in Moulton.
