Ticket machines at South Holland District Council car parks are not working due to network issue
Council car park ticket machines are not working due to a network issue.
A number of machines at South Holland District Council-owned car parks have been affected prompting an appeal for customers to use alternative methods.
Last year the council spent £88,500 on installing new car parking payment machines.
A social media statement issued by the council said: “We have been informed that a network problem is currently affecting all car parking ticket machines provided by our supplier.
“If you are parking in any council off-street, pay and display car parks and the ticket machine is not working, please make payment using the APCOA Connect or over the phone as set out on our signage/machines.
“We will provide a further update as and when the situation changes. Thank you for your patience and understanding at this time.”
The council increased its car parking charges in 2024 but had to reach a compromise to axe plans for free parking in Holbeach following public outcry.
