New heritage group covering Whaplode, Moulton, Moulton Chapel, Holbeach St John’s, Saracen’s Head, Whaplode St Catherine and Moulton Seas End wants to hear from you
A new heritage group is preparing to host its first meeting – and you are being invited to join.
The Elloe Stone Villages Heritage Group wants to bring together everyone who has an appreciation of, or an interest in, the history and heritage of the villages, churches and people from their parishes.
These areas include Whaplode, Moulton, Moulton Chapel, Holbeach St John’s, Saracen’s Head, Whaplode St Catherine and Moulton Seas End.
The group’s aim is to establish a focal heritage group for the area, promote a wider appreciation of the heritage of the area and provide a forum to discuss the preservation of village heritage.
The groups other aims are to: seek to select speakers to provide interest across a variety of topics, stimulate debate around funding for heritage projects, encourage volunteer participation in local heritage projects and achieve a core membership from across all the villages.
