Spalding's Beechfield West Medical Centre set to open... and you're invited to have a look inside

Beechfield Medical Centre is preparing to welcome patients to its new site.

Work at Beechfield West Medical Centre is due to be completed at Easter, with patients welcomed in shortly after.

Dr Babu and Dr Khan, Partners at Beechfield Medical Centre say “We are honoured to be able to re-open the site under the Beechfield name and bring it back to life for the local community.

"The practice is looking forward to being able to expand the range of services that we offer to our patients with this additional site.”

Residents will also be able to get a glimpse of what to expect at an upcoming opening event, to ge held before patients begin to be seen.

"Since the closure of the former Pennygate Health Centre on the same site, the building has been empty and unused and it has been our privilege to breath a new lease of life in to the building to re-open it as our branch site," a medical centre statement said.

"We have made some minor internal layout changes to allow us to fully utilise the space and have brought the building up to date in other areas in order to be able to offer the best quality of service to our patients.

"We look forward to offering residents on the west side of the town a more convenient location to access medical services and hope to be able to expand the range of services we offer at both sites over the coming year."

The public opening event will be held on Saturday, April 15, between 10am and 2pm, commencing with a ribbon cutting ceremony by the partners.

Members of our team and Patient Participation Group will be on hand to show you around the public areas of the site and discuss the services that will be offered.

Patients will not be registered with the Beechfield West site separately, as all patients registered at Beechfield Medical Centre will have access to services across both sites.

All appointments for Beechfield West must be pre-booked and will be subject to availability.
