Klodhoppers opens footwear shop at Weston's Baytree Garden Centre
Youngsters could be putting their best feet forward thanks to a new pop-up business.
Klodhoppers - which specialises in well-known footwear brands for children - is currently operating at Baytree Garden Centre.
And the great news for parents is that the stock is being sold at reduced prices.
“We are semi-retired, but selling off stock at a pop-up at Baytree,” said Mark Necus, who has more than 15 years of experience in the trade, having owned two kids’ shoe stores in Sussex with wife Kim Jackson, who is originally from Spalding.
Klodhoppers, which offers a measuring and fitting service, caters for all ages of youngsters, from first walkers up to school age - selling all kinds of footwear, including school shoes, wellies, flip-flops, trainers and sandals.
Well-known brands such as Bobux, Ricosta, Crocs, Hatley wellies, Converse, Vans, Startrite, Birkenstock, Joma and Chipmunk are available from their store, which has been running for two weeks but will only be at Baytree for a limited period.
“We have some size gaps but hopefully you can strike it lucky,” Mark added.
“We’re selling at reduced prices. There are £20 off school shoes and £20 off other boots.
“We also have some half price wellies.”
Klodhoppers also sell shoes online at Klodhoppers.com and via their Facebook page, although products are cheaper in their current store, which can be found by Uptown Vinyl Records unit.
The pop-up is open from 10am to 5pm Wednesdays to Saturdays and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
