Restaurant manager Matthew Upton excited with The Parlour set to open at Springfields Outlet in Spalding under Blue Diamond bracket
A new Edwardian-themed restaurant will throw its doors open for a grand opening tomorrow.
On Friday, April 1, The Parlour will officially become the newest addition at Springfields Outlet Shopping & Leisure in Spalding.
After a soft opening on Mother's Day, which attracted a busy stream of visitors, restaurant manager Matthew Upton and his staff set about preparing to expand their menu.
They will be offering breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon teas, Champagne and a full wine menu.
"Mother's Day was very good, and the Monday and Tuesday were very good," Mr Upton said.
Plans may include a red carpet being laid out and a special ribbon being cut to mark the opening of The Parlour, which was constructed in partnership with garden and lifestyle brand Blue Diamond.
Mr Upton was formerly the restaurant manager at the company's flagship garden centre in East Bridgford, and he is excited for his new challenge in Spalding.
"I think it's going to be amazing," he said.
"It's what this town needs. It's had a full re-fit, and it's been a long time coming.
"I'm very proud of what we've achieved."
The Parlour will be linked to Blue Diamond's Home & Garden Centre via an innovative retractable corridor.
Its management team have promised to keep prices competitive, and Springfields VIP members will be offered a free glass of prosecco if they book a table online.
Ian Sanderson, director of Springfields and SLR Outlets, said: "The new restaurant will deliver an experience for our guests looking for something a little bit special during their visit."
The restaurant has been built across from Sports Direct at Springfields, and overlooks the outlet's gardens.
