NHS asks for £63k from Gosberton 96 home developers
Health chiefs are asking for just over £63,000 from developers who are looking to build 96 homes.
Gleeson Regeneration Ltd wants to develop a field off York Gardens in Gosberton.
The company has applied to South Holland District Council to build two, three and four bedroom homes on the 9.42 acre site. The planning application also includes public open space, pedestrian link to Low Gate Medical Centre and access from York Gardens.
Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group has put forward a request for £63,360 to go towards improving the nearby surgeries to meet demand created by the new development.
A statement submitted to planners says: “Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group (LCCG) wishes for the Section 106 contribution from the development of 96 dwellings on land off York Gardens, Gosberton to contribute to the expansion in capacity through remodelling/changes to layout or extension to existing facilities at any of the following practices: Gosberton Medical Centre, Beechfield Medical Centre, Swineshead Medical Group and Kirton Medical Centre.”
