A stone age axe head, Viking skates and Roman pottery were among the items stepping out of history and into the classroom at Gosberton Community Primary School 10 years ago.
Kathy Holland, of St Katherine’s Heritage and Cultural Centre in Lincoln, visited the school for a day of archaeology-themed activities.
Children had the chance to handle the antiquities, play archaeologist and record the items’ characteristics and also make their own pottery.
