Witness appeal: Long Sutton fatal collision

Investigating officers are issuing an appeal to anyone who witnessed or assisted at the scene of a collision near the junction of West Street and the Chase in Long Sutton at around 9.20am on Friday, September 28.

Two pedestrians, a man and a woman in their 80s, were injured and taken to hospital. Whilst their condition at the time did not appear life threatening, the man has sadly since passed away as a result of his injuries.

Officers would also like to speak to anyone who saw the couple walking in the area prior to the collision. If you have any information that could assist this investigation, please call 101 with incident reference number 89 of the September 28.
