OBITUARY: Debbie Slater, of Wyberton

Deborah (Debbie) Slater, of West End Road, Wyberton, died in Boston’s Pilgrim
Hospital on Wednesday, November 5, aged 56.

Debbie, from Bicker, was survived by her husband Steve Slater, and mother, Mrs Blackburn, of Spalding.

Debbie leaves children Kelly Cooper, Max Slater and Patsy Slater.

Educated at Donington Primary School and Spalding High School, she was a nurse from the age of 18, before having to retire on medical grounds.

She played hockey for Gosberton Poachers and for Spalding and enjoyed walking, biking and being a grandma.

Her funeral was held at South Lincolnshire Crematorium on November 19. The funeral director was Carr Funeral Service of Boston.
