Objections to build 35 homes in Pinchbeck
Plans to build 35 homes in a village have been met by further objections.
Members of Pinchbeck Parish Council discussed the proposals for the dwellings on an open field off Milestone Lane at Monday night’s meeting.
Chairman Coun James Avery read a letter from a concerned resident which questioned whether the village had the infrastructure to cope with the plans.
Councillors were also concerned about the development adding to the recent spate of flooding problems faced by the village.
Photographs of the site suffering from flooding have also recently been shared.
“Local services will be impacted,” said Coun Audrey Gregory, discussing the proposals.
A previous application to build 38 dwellings was made to South Holland District Council by Postland Developments, with this latest application a fourth amendment.
“Our objections are similar to last time,” Coun Avery said.
