Organisers hope to bring the town together with this open mic night in Spalding
If you are looking to step into the spotlight and share your talents, why not have a go at this open mic event which will be restarting later this month.
The White Horse Writers are based in South Holland and have recently decided to bring back a popular event which once brought people in the town together.
An open mic night will be taking place at Sergi’s Tapas Bar on Thursday, September 28 from 7pm.
The event hopes to encourage people in the area to show off their poetry, music and drama performances, as well as any other talents they would like to showcase.
Callum Brazzo who is one of the organisers said: “Open mic nights were a regular part of the Spalding scene until the pandemic lockdown so now it seems like a good time to bring folk back together.
“Many people have missed the chance to share their work in a supportive atmosphere and Spalding really needs this kind of event.”
Martin Blake is also an organiser for the event, he said: “‘Everyone is welcome to just turn up on the night, either to perform or simply to watch and be entertained.”
If you are interested in booking a slot to take part, message the White Horse Writers Facebook page or contact Martin Blake by calling 07762 189783.
