South Holland Business Awards winners announced
The area's top firms scooped prizes last night at the biggest South Holland Business Awards event yet.
Hosted by Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce and headline sponsor FreshLinc, the awards were nearly double the size of the pre-pandemic level and crowned the cream of the business crop in our district.
More than 320 guests and 40 businesses attended the ceremony at Springfields Conference & Events Centre in Spalding.
Opening the evening’s celebrations, running through the categories and announcing the winners, was TED Talker and the brains behind the ‘shareacoke’ campaign, Richard Askam.

- Small Business of the Year – sponsored by Charmed Interiors: Harringtons
- Supporting the Community – sponsored by Welland Power: Worldwide Fruit Ltd
- Business Person of the Year – sponsored by South Holland District Council: Justin Szymborski, Melon&Co Ltd
- Young Achiever of the Year – sponsored by the University Academy Holbeach: Milly Mason, Worldwide Fruit. And highly commended were Matthew Day, Maples Solicitors LLP and Lisa Wright, National Centre for Food Manufacturing.
A special award was given on the night to Paul Tomlinson, Managing Director of Davis Worldwide who was recognised as an ‘Inspirational Community Ambassador’ through the work he does with work experience and inspiring the next generation.

The event kicked off with a performance from Scott Perry Magician and guests enjoyed a sparkling drink reception and three-course meal.
