Partygoers enjoy best of the 80s and 90s at Spalding’s Cley Hall Hotel disco
Partygoers turned back the clock to celebrate the best of the 1980s and 90s over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The event was hosted by Spalding’s Cley Hall Hotel, with punters getting into the spirit with some eyecatching fancy dress - including timeless classic the bumbag!
Shell suits, retro sportswear and even some double denim could be spotted on the dancefloor while one reveller summed it up nicely with a T-shirt stating: “I may be but I got to party in the 80s.”
Saturday night’s 80s and 90s Disco Night - with Pete Williamson on the wheels of steel - celebrated the top tunes of the last millennium, from Aerosmith to ATB… with a little bit of Coolio for good measure.

“It was a fantastic event and amazing to see the dancefloor packed all night,” said hotel manager Gemma Williams.
The disco was the first in a series of events planned at the High Street venue throughout the year, to show residents the hotel is for them just as much as visitors to the town.
Upcoming events include a Noughties Night on June 29, a 1940s Day on September 7 and a Christmas fayre, which will take place in November.
