The Green Bowl have opened its doors for the first time in Spalding

A new takeaway has opened its doors this morning – and is looking forward to a bright future.

The Green Bowl is located next to Be You Hair and Hot and Spicy takeaway in New Road, Spalding – and will be offering a healthier menu.

The business is one of the first in the area to offer poke bowls along with delicious homemade sausage rolls.

Business owner Trudy Edgington said: “We have already had good feedback this morning.

“Lots of local businesses have also come in to say hi, which is lovely.”

The outlet has a variety of freshly made wraps, ciabattas and gluten free cakes on display, along with the homemade sausage rolls – which smelled incredible.

The healthy takeaway food shop also sells salad and poke bowls – which offer customers the chance to choose their own fillings and salad items to suit their personal preferences.

Customers can buy a ‘love struck smoothie’ at £3.95 each.

The business will offer an order and collect option for customers, where people can pre order and collect from the shop at their own convenience.

Trudy said: “ In the future we hope to introduce new things and change the menu depending on what people like and dislike.”

She added: “We welcome everyone to come in and take a look at what we sell.”

The Green Bowl will be open Monday to Saturday, from 8am to 4pm.
