Paul Baker in Quadring wants people to guess how many Easter eggs, chicks and hot cross buns they can spot in his garden
Quadring's Paul Baker has been busy decorating his quirky garden ready for Easter.
Paul, a retired taxi firm owner, has been making people smile over the past year with crazy additions to his front garden.
The garden features a giant model duck, a mannequin sitting in a canoe, a collection of pygmy goats - and a full-size glider propped up in a tree.
A goat tower in the front garden now has a giant Easter egg template pinned to its mast, in the design and colours of the Lincolnshire flag of course!
The ‘upside-down’ model house Paul has built also now has Easter decorations - however goat Molly has started jumping into the bottom window to nibble on the artificial flowers.
In time for Easter, Paul is running a competition for people to count how many Easter eggs, Easter chicks and hot cross buns they can spot in his garden. The winner will receive the prize of an Easter egg hamper.
Paul said: “I want people to count how many they can see. You are going to have to go for a walk to see them as you won’t be able to count them as you drive past.”
All people need to do is write down their answers and leave them in the competition box (in the red telephone box) at his house in Main Road, Quadring. Don’t forget to leave a contact detail so Paul can reach you.
The competition ends on March 31 and the first name drawn out of the box will win the hamper.
Paul added: “A lot of people have been commenting on the garden on their daily walks. People still stop and say thank you.”
