Spalding sit-in protest for world peace
A sit-in will be held in Spalding town centre to help promote world peace.
Angela Barca and Agnes Lechtanska are hoping others will join them in Market Place at 7pm on Thursday as part of the peaceful protest.
They will also be leaving Spalding on December 1 as part of an international march to highlight the need for peace.
The march will be taking in France, Belgium, Netherlands and Poland.
Veterinary surgeon Angela, who took part in a symbolic clap for peace in London in June, is hoping more people will support the sit-in.
She said: “We are going to have an hour of silent prayer and and the council are aware of this.”
Agnes added: “We want to make people aware of this.
“This is a peaceful act for world peace.”
