Casualty treated for smoke inhalation after house fire in Gosberton
A householder was treated for smoke inhalation after a house fire in Gosberton on Thursday.
Crews from Donington and Spalding were called to a property in Belchmire Lane at about 5pm where a cooker and hob were on fire.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a water hose and thermal imaging camera to tackle the fire.
A Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "The fire caused serious damage to a halogen hob unit and slight damage to a cooker.
"There was also smoke damage to the remainder of the kitchen, although the cooker was isolated and the hob was removed to open air.
"One casualty suffered slight smoker inhalation and oxygen was administered to them before they were left in the care of paramedics."
