Spalding Superdrug pharmacy suffers temporary closures
Spalding's Superdrug pharmacy is suffering from 'intermittent closures' as bosses battle a shortage of staff.
The chain says its Hall Place store is feeling the impact of an industry-wide shortage of pharmacists.
A spokesman for Superdrug said: "Supporting the Spalding community’s healthcare needs is always our priority and we’re sorry that our pharmacy has experienced a few temporary intermittent closures."
They added: "We advertise to locums daily to help support us in keeping the pharmacy open full-time. It is never our intention to temporarily close the pharmacy.
"If a customer finds that our pharmacy is temporarily closed, we have a team member on site who is able to advise and signpost patients appropriately."
The rest of the shop is open as normal.
