PHOTO GALLERY: Competition winners at Pinchbeck's Sunflower Lodge enjoy learning to cycle in a Balanceability Day

Excited youngsters aged three and four had the chance to learn to cycle after winning a Balanceability Day provided by a Spalding-based sports and fitness company.

Sunflower Lodge Childcare in Pinchbeck was the lucky winner of the competition, which was held throughout September and October.

It was open to all nurseries and pre-schools across Lincolnshire to win a free Balanceability taster day. The competition, run by Give It Some Fizz on its Facebook page, was extremely popular, with 31 nurseries nominated and thousands of votes being cast.

Balanceability is an accredited ‘learn to cycle’ programme designed for children aged two-and-a-half years and up.

As well as providing Balanceability to nurseries and primary schools, Give It Some Fizz also runs weekly Balanceability sessions at The Peele Leisure Centre in Long Sutton and Kirton Middlecott Leisure Centre. Sessions will start on Saturdays at Pinchbeck Village Hall in January.
