New Spalding supermarket creates a Lidl stir
Hundreds of shoppers flocked to the grand opening of Spalding's newest supermarket this morning.
After months of waiting the new Lidl store in Holbeach Road was officially opened by South Holland District Council Chairman Francis Biggadike at 8am this morning.
The car park is already pretty full as shoppers popped along to pick some exclusive deals and offers on selected products.
Store manager Tomaz Bychawski was thrilled with the response to the new store.

At the opening Coun Biggadike said: "It is significant by the fact that you have brought new life to this brownfield site and serving a highly populated area of the town with their everyday needs.
