Pictures show haul of illegal cigarettes uncovered from Spalding trader
Newly-released pictures show the extent of the haul of illegal cigarettes seized from a trader in Spalding.
Haiman Fatah Mohamad (36), of Waveney Close in Spalding, has been jailed for 16 months after more than 90,000 illegal cigarettes were seized by police and Lincolnshire Trading Standards.
The authorities have now released images showing the illicit goods they took from him.
Mohamad had run Euro Express in Commercial Road - which the authorities now say was wholly a front for an illegal cigarette business.
There were 17,000 illegal cigarettes discovered at the shop by police and trading standards last May - both under the counter and under the floor in the storeroom.
However, the discoveries didn't end there.
Outside found a further 19,000 illegal cigarettes in the boot of his car outside the shop and 55,500 at his home in Waveney Close, in the Wygate Park estate.
Mohamad had already been sentenced for selling illegal tobacco in Boston in 2016 but came back to the area to run the shop in Spalding.
