Kirton Domino’s pizza take away closer to being delivered after latest planning request granted
A hotly-anticipated pizza take away is close to being delivered after a planning request was granted.
Permission has already been given for a Domino’s restaurant and delivery service on the Avalon Business Park in Kirton.
But Boston Borough Council’s planning departmant has now granted the popular chain advertisement consent for an internally illuminated fascia sign and one internally illuminated logo sign.
“The site is one of a block of seven industrial units currently under development,” the planning officer report read.
“The unit the subject of this application is the unit closest to the roadside.
“The site is part of the wider Kirton Distribution prestige employment site (off the A16).”
Permission for a Domino’s at the business park was granted in March, with the business expecting to provide up to 25 jobs.
Plans passed were for three tables and seating for up to 10 people, plus a service counter, office, store, cold room, toilets and washing up area.
This latest application was passed with BBC officers adding the proposal ‘would not harm the visual amenity of the area or public safety’.
Domino’s currently have takeaways to the north and south of Kirton in Boston and Spalding. But the closest chain pizza business to the village is currently the Papa John’s takeaway on the Quadrant development in Wyberton.
