The last surviving British member of the Dambusters helped 'break the ground' for a new Lancaster Bomber sculpture that will sit at the gateway to Lincolnshire.
Sq Ldr George 'Johnny' Johnson and other veterans marked the start of the project on land by the A46 at Norton Disney.
The sculpture, once completed will be to the scale of a real Lancaster bomber, to serve as a memorial to those who served in World War Two.
